ImageXpress Micro Confocal High-Content Screening (HCS) Imaging System (Molecular Devices)

ImageXpress Micro Confocal High-Content Imaging (Molecular Devices) is a fluorescence (widefield and confocal) microscopy system that enables multiparametric analysis of cell cultures and / or tissues in microplates up to 1536 wells. The system can acquire hundreds of high-resolution images of morphological parameters and fluorescent markers (up to 4 simultaneously) in both fixed and live cells in culture. In addition, it is possible to monitor dynamic cellular processes (time-lapse), because it has adjustable temperature, CO2 (5%) and humidity. The acquisition and analysis of the images are performed in an automated way by MetaXpress High-Content Image Acquisition & Analysis software, which has preconfigured or customized analysis modules.
