Nanoscale liquid chromatography coupled to Mass Spectrometry - EASY-nLC 1200 and Q Exactive Plus (Thermo Scientific)

This set of equipment allows efficient separation and analysis of proteins and peptides at very low concentrations, covering a wide dynamic range of concentration in complex biological samples from organisms, tissues, secretions or cells. In addition to high resolution and mass accuracy, the Q Exactive Plus instrument offers the possibility to work with Data-Dependent Acquisition (DDA) and Data Independent Acquisition (DIA) modes for mass spectral acquisition and quantification of proteins using the PRM (Parallel Reaction Monitoring) methodology, also known as targeted quantification. In addition, it is possible to carry out the relative and absolute quantification of dozens of proteins simultaneously and without the need to scan the whole proteome.
